The new book provides tools to achieve "Wellth" - comprehensive health and wellness

Glenn Alex has been advocating for better health throughout her life. Now, in her new book, "Living in Total Health," she offers a balanced, sometimes surprising journey to understand health and prosperity. And the meaning of wisdom - or become a popular "well" in the health and wellness world. Glenn defines this new term as "the sum of the richness and happiness found in health." Wellth means being healthy and affluent - people have reached some physical diagnostics and life is meaningful or happy.

This balance is evident in this book because it is not just about exercise or nutrition. Instead, Glenn divided the book into three parts: physical health, emotional health, and mental health. Each section is then divided into four chapters, including "Move Your Body" [Body Health], "Existence" [Emotional Health] and "Reducing Stress" [Mental Health]. Each section and chapter is full of discussions, personal stories, to illustrate Glenn's point of view, and to give readers a better understanding and practice of the topic at hand. Glenn further clarified her goal in the introduction: "The purpose of this book is to provide a different perspective on health, rather than repeatedly providing information about diet, exercise, etc. The intention of living in full health is if you fail to achieve your goals. Activate your critical reasoning and challenge the health approach you adopt."

What I particularly appreciate in one aspect of life in general health is that Glenn constantly reminds us that everything we need is already in our body. She did not ask us to perform any miracles, just to do what we did by nature. She did not tell us to do hardcore exercises in the gym, but to redefine exercise as anything that would require activities like walking, yoga, or even laundry or dishwashing. The challenge is to actively participate. Of course, some people may choose to do more - and it's great - but for most of us, Glenn's words are a great reminder of how to get started.

Glenn also made it clear that we don't have to be a fit for everyone with healthy people. Each of us has our own individual, so our personal nutritional needs far exceed the "patented diet plan". She encourages us to find out which foods our body responds well to, and find the nutritional balance we can enjoy, as well as things that don't bother our body or become inflamed. Other key physical aspects of her concern include the importance of stretching, including when and how to do it, and the benefits of massage, including massage safety tips to ensure you find a reliable and trustworthy massage therapist.

In the Emotional Wellth section, Glen explains the differences between emotions and emotions and how they send us information. Perhaps the most powerful discussion in this section is related to separating our emotions from the emotions of others. Glenn discussed the importance of establishing boundaries with people, including emotional boundaries. Sometimes we may have to draw a line with someone on how to treat us, but we may have to draw an emotional boundary, and we won't let ourselves cross when we accept other people's problems. Although we can sympathize with people, Glenn warns us not to put on other people's shoes metaphorically, not our shoes - in other words, do not accept the emotional burden of others.

In these border discussions, Glenn raised the topic of domestic violence, and I think she emphasizes the difference between conscious and meaningless choices here. So many male assaulters will claim that women's behavior is the reason that drives them to beat her, but if this is true, why are these men not leaving women, so they eliminate the frustration in life? These people can't stop their anger because the attackers don't abuse it in public but at home, which proves that people make choices consciously.

In the final section of Mind Wellth, Glen focused on how the accumulation of unhealthy lifestyle choices affects the mental health and stability of most of us. At the forefront of psychological problems is how stress affects us, and Glenn provides tips on how to reduce it. She also helped us rethink our support system and introduced the concept of creating a support system eco-map, an effective exercise that can lead to better mental health in your life.

The content of life in Total Health is much more than what I included in this short review. Through the pages of this book, Glen tells us in a kind but straightforward way, just like her good coach. . . At the end of the book, she explained her views on the purpose of life, which led her to write this book: "I strive to achieve my purpose on earth, realize and share my inner gift with others. Love is what I achieve. The basis of the goal, my goal is to become the best version of Glen and reflect my creator, I have the ability."

We should all work for similar goals, and we can achieve it. Reading and practicing the principles of "comprehensive healthy living" is a good measure to achieve this achievement, and it is also a better sense of well-being and happiness.
