Family education 101

Why bother with family education?

Why? Well, if you think this is a problem, you may reconsider your decision. Educating your child at home is not a hassle, but a wonderful, rewarding return for you and your child. So if you really want this opportunity, please add the word "trouble" from your vocabulary. Yes, this is your chance and your child's chance.

If you are a full-time mom or dad, you have the opportunity to give your child a good learning experience through family education. In most states, family education is a legitimate, legal choice. You need to follow some guidelines and rules and regulations, but after that, everything will waver! [In some states, you must inform the Board of Education that you intend to send your child to your home for a certain number of days].

You can't simply let your child leave school and decide to go to school. You must, almost always notify the school board or the board of education. You can learn about rules and regulations through government officials or some wonderful home education magazines and literature. Once you find the rules and regulations, you will go.

Is family education good?

Time, balance, growth and exposure

If you complete your home education in the right way, your child will have a well-balanced education and will become a well-rounded student. Rewards cannot be measured. First of all, one of the benefits is that you two people spend more time together and give each other more attention. The average student sees their parents for a few minutes a day, or up to an hour or two. However, parents or guardians of ordinary family education watch children for a few hours a day [when parents or guardians are teaching]. You will study together! Now, this is one of the biggest and best benefits of family education. Teachers and students learn from each other. As you grow together, you can review this experience in the next few years, and both of you will be happy with your choices and decisions. Children can spend more time with their siblings, younger children will learn, and older children will learn.

You will have more time with each other. You can take almost any life course as an education course. Going to the supermarket or going to a department store is a lesson in buying, buying, finance and product comparisons. Going to a fast food restaurant is a lesson in food, health and purchase, or even a lesson in customer service. The fast food process showed the children a very valuable marketing course. Therefore, things in everyday life will increase your family education experience.

good education

Another benefit is good education. You can see for yourself what your child is learning without a PTA meeting and without the need for strangers. Report your child's progress. You choose your child's education. If you want to teach your child spiritual lessons, you can do it. You can teach religion as a history and history to teach religious courses. [Look at all the Christians in history and see the impact they have on our land]. You can teach interesting science courses and math courses. Traveling to banks and ATMs will be a great business math class.

You can even go to the Finance Building and other related places. Your child will benefit more from what he sees and does, rather than relying on most book-based education. [Yes, you need books and you use books, but you don't just rely on them as your only educational tool]. Like children in home education, socialization is as easy as having children attending school buildings. Many times, when we do TV shows, we invite children from homeschools, parents and guards to come to our studio to visit and participate in performances. So your choice is open and your world is your education. Another benefit is targeted education. You are the teacher; you are responsible. This gives you a lot of choices and lots of opportunities.

What are the problems with family education?

There is almost no problem with family education. These are some questions:

If your child begins formal education and is now transitioning to family education, your child may miss classmates.

How did you solve these problems?

The solution to this problem is to let your child interact with children in other schools as much as possible. Invite the child [with the consent of the parents] to go on a day trip with you. Or invite them after school. Have your child register his or her favorite hobby. [Children will accept piano or bowling or art activities. In these hobbies, children will make new friends and interact with children of their own age. With your imagination, you will find your child to interact with other children. Still at home to receive education.

test

Most school districts require specific tests for homeschooling. But the test is no more difficult than testing for ordinary school-age children. So, prepare for testing. They usually also require a licensed teacher to observe or test. All of this can be arranged. If you are determined to go home to school, then at least nothing can stop you from at least trying this type of education.

stigma

Years ago, family education has always been a shame. Many years ago, farmers and the poor and migrant workers were educated at home. Sometimes children and even adults make fun of students at home schools. But today, all of this has changed dramatically. It is particularly noteworthy that one year, this family education child won the National Spelling Competition on national television, proving that she is the best speller in the United States. Even after that, many people indicated on television that they had been educated at home and are now attending college or graduating from a traditional university.

What if you change your mind? If you change your perception of family education, you have the right to have your child attend a public school. Please consult your school district. In most cities, most children are entitled to free public education, and it is likely that you live in such a city or town. So don't worry about changing your mind - if you find home education is impossible.

Our experience

In the past, I had three children [before they went to school] to be educated at home, and each of them entered the school before class. When a child was in the second grade, the child was tested and found to be able to read university journals. So home education work, even if it is unofficial ' family education. traffic light. The light is marked with the word "stop". For me, this is a reading lesson. We will read all the words that we passed as we walked down the street. I went to school with my children and I walked along the sidewalk. That is "read 101."

This is a simple and fun game - this reading game, which allows my children to enter the school a few years before the classmates learn to read. Therefore, family education, and even basic family education, can affect children's lives.

You may have already read about family education, and you may have already talked to other parents or guardians of family education children. But no matter what you hear, there is more family education, not just reading. When you check with the local school board, you will get detailed information on government regulations [of many] about family education. When I first thought about family education, my

The second child's grades were poor. I think a lot, because the school is polluted and has to be temporarily closed. After the building was almost rebuilt, we returned to the traditional school. My child and I learned a lot from observing nature and visiting the park.

Your experience

Only you know what your experience will be like. You know yourself, you know your child better than others. Therefore, it is determined by your needs, needs and lifestyle, and your schedule. Only you know the answer to whether you should go to school at home. Some home schools pass temporary needs; sometimes children have broken legs and cannot go to a local school. They started school at home and found that parents and guardians as well as children liked this experience, so they regularly apply to homeschools and everyone is happy.

One thing is for sure, don't let anyone...
